ABOUT

After over five years of working in the commercials industry, I have gained a well-rounded understanding of all elements of the filmmaking process. Since stepping away from production roles in March 2023 to pursue art department full-time, I have gained experience in standby, buying, prop hire, set dressing and graphics. Prior to this, my experience in production has provided me with a clear understanding of the roles of different departments and how they collaborate to create a shared vision.

Throughout the past year, I have developed a real interest in the graphics department after watching colleagues work and doing a deep-dive into the work of various Graphic Designers, including Annie Atkins. I have since found a lot of enjoyment in creating a portfolio of work while simultaneously building my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. I am by no means an expert and would love the opportunity to build my skills and understanding further in a Graphics Trainee/Assistant role in Film or TV.

I am an experienced assistant, stepping up into more challenging roles and beginning to head up smaller jobs as a one-person art department. The two constants, however, are my ability to make a wonderful brew and my willingness to always indulge in a mid-afternoon hot choc with you on set.
